Privacy Policy

Dashboardy ("Dashboardy", "we", "us") is a business productivity dashboard and training business, and is a trade name of Phil Accardo, sole proprietor, located in York, Pennsylvania. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information — your name, email address, and profile picture when you sign in with Google.
Content you create — transaction details, contacts, notes, and documents you upload or enter into the dashboard.
Connected-account data — when you choose to connect Google, we access the Google services you authorize (see below).
Information you submit on our forms — if you register for a class, webinar, or other event we host, or request information from us, we collect the name, email address and (optionally) the phone number you provide.

Email and text (SMS) messages

If you register for one of our classes or events, we use the email address you provide to send you information about that event — your access link, reminders before it starts, and any recording or materials afterward. We may also send occasional related educational emails. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

Providing a phone number is optional. You can register without one, and you will still receive everything by email.
Texts are sent only with your consent — you must tick the consent box on the form before we will text you.
What we text you — reminders for the event you registered for and the link to join it. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out — reply STOP to any message to stop all texts, or HELP for assistance. You can also email us and we will remove you.
We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties, and mobile opt-in data is never shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

How we use Google user data

When you connect your Google account, Dashboardy requests only the access needed to perform tasks you initiate, on your account:

Google Calendar (calendar.events) — to create transaction deadline events on your calendar when you run the Transaction Coordinator.
Gmail (gmail.compose, gmail.send) — to draft and send transaction emails from your own mailbox, on your behalf, when you ask the app to.
Google Sheets (spreadsheets) — to log records to spreadsheets you authorize (admin features only).
Profile/email — to identify your account and bind your connection to the address you sign in with.

Limited Use disclosure

Dashboardy's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not allow humans to read it except where required for security, to comply with the law, or where you have given explicit consent. Google data is used only to provide and improve the features you have authorized.

Cookies & tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels, tags, and local storage) on our websites and landing pages. A cookie is a small text file placed on your device that lets a site remember you between visits.

Strictly necessary cookies — keep you signed in, maintain your session, and secure the dashboard. The service does not work without these.
Preference cookies — remember choices you have made, such as settings and previously entered form details.
Analytics cookies — help us understand which pages are visited and how the site performs, so we can improve it.
Advertising & conversion pixels — our public marketing and class registration pages include the Meta (Facebook) pixel, which tells us when someone who saw one of our ads viewed a page or completed a registration form. This lets us measure whether our advertising works and reach similar audiences. It is set by Meta Platforms, Inc. and is governed by Meta's privacy policy.

Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse third-party cookies entirely. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the dashboard from working. You can also limit ad tracking through Meta's ad settings, the DAA opt-out tool, or your device's built-in ad-tracking controls. We honor browser "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.

We do not use cookies or tracking pixels on your mobile phone number or your text-message opt-in data, and we never use Google user data for advertising (see Limited Use, above).

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that operate the product (for example, cloud hosting and the Google APIs you connect), and only as needed to run the features you use, or when required by law.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect your Google account at any time from your Profile page, which revokes our access. To delete your account and associated data, email phil@dashboardy.app and we will remove it. If you registered for a class and want your phone number and email deleted, email the same address or reply STOP to any text.

Security

Connections use OAuth 2.0; we never see or store your Google password. Access tokens are stored securely and transmitted over encrypted connections.

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
